- Transformation of practices and processes needed for service business
FIMECC’s (www.fimecc.fi) FutIS (Future Industrial Services) program engages over 20 large and medium-sized firms in technology-based industry, in collaboration with selected research institutes and international partners, in researching the prerequisites, contexts, market knowledge and practices – i.e., future-oriented and customer-centered enablers – required for adopting and expanding service business. The combination of knowledge in strategy, innovation, operations, and marketing creates a fruitful ground for transforming the companies towards service business and promoting new knowledge in the international research field.
